Get BallHawk Team

Watching is always free. No exceptions.

Other platforms charge families $10 to $15 a game to watch their own kid. We don't. Every fan, every family member, every grandparent watches for free in the Apollo Streams Network app on iOS and Android. No account required to watch. No payment. No paywall. Ever.

What you need

Start with your main camera. With BallHawk, that's one iPhone 12 or newer, and a spare or hand-me-down works. Without BallHawk, use your own iPhone or HDMI camera setup with a Pro subscription. Add an iPad or spare iPhone when you want a dedicated production control screen for features like instant replay. For the AI scoreboard reader, add a separate camera pointed at the venue scoreboard. Want another angle? Add another camera. Additional camera angles do not need their own BallHawk.

Two products. Two different jobs.

BallHawk Pro produces the game. BallHawk Team gives your team a home. You can use one or both. Team does not replace Pro, and Pro does not include Team. Watching in the Apollo Streams Network is always free for fans.

Billing toggle applies to BallHawk Pro. BallHawk Team is priced per season.

Produce the game

Own a BallHawk? Create your free account and Pro is included when you use it.

No credit card required. Connect your BallHawk at the start of a production and you have full Pro access. Same software, same features as a paid Pro subscriber. No separate Pro subscription required.

Pro produces the game. Team gives it a home.

Most parents use Pro through their BallHawk. Most coaches add Team. A parent with a BallHawk on a team that has BallHawk Team gets both, without buying Pro.

BallHawk Pro is the camera side

It runs on the phone doing the filming. Tracking, zoom, streaming, scoreboard, highlights, replays, and multiple angles all live here. Everyone starts with a free BallHawk account. BallHawk owner: free account plus a connected BallHawk equals Pro production access, no credit card required, and any additional camera angles you add do not need their own BallHawk. No BallHawk: account plus an active paid Pro subscription equals Pro production access with your own supported camera setup, including iPhone or HDMI cameras. Motorized pan and tilt tracking is what BallHawk hardware adds.

How team season passes work

1. A coach or program purchases a team season pass for their roster.
2. Every player on the roster gets watermark free access to their highlights for the full season.
3. When the season ends, families have 30 days to convert to an individual Player Locker or Recruiting Locker to keep their highlights permanently.
4. Highlights not saved to an individual plan are permanently deleted after the grace period.

How Player Locker works

1. A game is produced with BallHawk and highlights are posted to the Apollo Streams Network.
2. Anyone following the team can watch those highlights for free in the Network with a watermark.
3. A player moves highlights into their Player Locker before they expire from the team feed.
4. Those highlights live permanently on the player page, watermark free, ready to share or download anytime.

How fans watch

Fans watch in the Apollo Streams Network app. Free to download on iOS and Android. No subscription required. No payment required. Watching is always free.

Free for every fan

Other platforms charge families to watch their own kids play. We don't. Download the app, follow the broadcaster once, and get alerts for future live games and highlights. Grandparents, friends, and family across the country can all tune in for free.

For programs

BallHawk Team gives your program one official home in the Network. Families know where to look, sharing is one link, and your audience builds all season long. More viewers means stronger sponsor value and more families connected to your program.

Follow the broadcaster. Never miss a game.

Every BallHawk broadcaster gets a free home in the Apollo Streams Network. Friends and family can follow it once, then get notified when a game goes live or new highlights are posted. Live games, recent games, and highlights all stay connected to the same broadcaster page, so fans always know where to look. Watching is free. Your free BallHawk account is your broadcaster identity: when you stream or publish highlights to Apollo Streams, they connect to your page automatically. This comes with BallHawk hardware or BallHawk Pro. It is not a subscription tier, and it does not require BallHawk Team.

Your free broadcaster page

One public page that stays put across the season. No new link every game. When you go live, it's there. When the game ends, it moves to recent games. Highlights you publish land on the same page. Fans tap Follow once and the Network does the rest.

Public broadcaster page Current live game Recent games Published highlights Follow button Go-live notifications New-highlight notifications Shareable link

Tag my athlete

Families can tag their athlete on highlights from any broadcaster page, so the right clips find the right kid. From there, a Player Locker gives that athlete a permanent, watermark free home for every highlight. Player Locker is sold separately and is never required to watch or follow.

Free broadcaster page or BallHawk Team?

Following, sharing, notifications, athlete tagging, and Player Locker discovery all work on the free broadcaster page without it.

Fans always watch free in the Apollo Streams Network. No account required to watch. Every broadcaster creates a free BallHawk account before their first production; the account is not a subscription and no credit card is required for BallHawk hardware owners. BallHawk Pro access is included whenever a supported BallHawk gimbal is connected at the start of a production. Owning BallHawk hardware does not unlock standalone Pro software without the hardware connected; a paid Pro subscription covers production without BallHawk hardware. BallHawk hardware owners and BallHawk Pro subscribers use the same production software with the same features. BallHawk Team is a separate product and is not included with BallHawk Pro or BallHawk hardware. Player Locker, Team Vault, League Builder, sponsorship packs, and the Broadcasting Academy are separate Apollo Streams products. Highlights posted to the Network carry a watermark. Moving a highlight to a Player Locker removes the watermark and makes it permanent and shareable from the athlete's player page. The GameChanger integration sends your broadcast directly into your team's existing GameChanger baseball stream and requires an active GameChanger team account. The main camera films the game. An iPad or spare iPhone can serve as the production control screen for features like instant replay and production control. The AI scoreboard reader uses a separate camera or input pointed at the physical scoreboard. The manual scoreboard and one-tap highlights work from the Game Controller without touching the main camera phone. Additional camera angles do not require additional BallHawk gimbals; a genuine BallHawk must be connected when the production starts to receive included Pro access. Motorized BallHawk pan and tilt tracking requires BallHawk hardware. GameChanger is a trademark of GameChanger Media, Inc. Apollo Streams is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by GameChanger Media, Inc. or Dick's Sporting Goods.

Questions, answered

Do I need an account to use BallHawk?

Yes. Create a free BallHawk account before your first production. If you're using BallHawk hardware, no credit card or separate Pro subscription is required. Connect your BallHawk when you start production and Pro is included when you use it.

Do I have to pay for BallHawk Pro if I own BallHawk?

No. Create your free BallHawk account and connect your BallHawk when starting production. Pro is included when you use BallHawk hardware, with no separate Pro subscription or credit card required. A paid BallHawk Pro subscription is for people who want to start production without BallHawk hardware.

Can I use the BallHawk app without the gimbal?

Yes. Create an account and subscribe to BallHawk Pro, then use the production platform with your own supported camera setup, including iPhone or HDMI cameras. You get the same streaming, scoreboard, highlight, replay, and multi-camera tools. What you don't get without the gimbal is BallHawk's motorized pan and tilt tracking, so you'll be aiming the camera yourself.

Does BallHawk Pro have more features than my BallHawk?

No. Pro is the name of the standalone software subscription for people who don't own a BallHawk. The production features are identical either way.

Is BallHawk Team an upgrade to Pro?

No. Pro produces the game. Team gives your team a home in the Network with a page, roster, schedule, highlights, and announcements. They are two different products. Team does not include Pro, and Pro does not include Team.

Do I need BallHawk Team for family and friends to follow my games?

No. Every BallHawk broadcaster has a free Network presence where fans can follow live games, recent games, and highlights and receive alerts when new content is available. BallHawk Team is the optional upgrade for programs that want an official team destination with branding, roster, schedule, coach/admin tools, announcements, and team communication.

Do the other parents on my team need anything?

No. They watch free in the Network app. If they want their own kid's highlights saved permanently, they can add a Player Locker, which is sold separately.

What phone do I need?

An iPhone 12 or newer. A spare or hand-me-down works. Android phones are not supported for filming, but fans on Android can watch free in the Network app.

Do I need an iPad?

Not to film or stream. One iPhone on the gimbal does that. Add an iPad or spare iPhone when you want a dedicated production control screen for features like instant replay. The AI scoreboard reader is separate: it uses its own camera pointed at the venue scoreboard. The manual scoreboard and one-tap highlights run from the Game Controller, no second screen needed.

Is my child's video sent to an AI system?

No. BallHawk's AI tracking runs on your device. Your footage stays on your device unless you choose to stream, upload, save, or share it through Apollo Streams. We never use your footage to train AI.

Your athlete's next big moment is this weekend.

Buy a BallHawk, create your free account, and Pro is included when you use it. No credit card required. Or create an account and subscribe to Pro to use your own iPhone or HDMI camera setup. Either way, you're in the stands, not behind the phone.
